David Jablow, a Philadelphia-based artist, was recently handed a vintage doodle pad with a quite suggestive background image of a woman. Instead of creating something filthy, the artist opted to challenge himself to go outside the box and drew a slew of stunning images that demonstrate his imagination has no bounds.
In a recent interview with Bored Panda, the artist stated that he has been drawing his entire life and that cartooning and illustrating are two of his favorite pursuits. “The inspiration comes from half-drawn pin-up beauties… “I just picture what they may be doing and then work out how to build the world around them,” David added. He’s been working on his vintage doodle series for ten years and describes each picture as a new but familiar challenge.
