On December 1, 2003, Robert Irwin was born, the second of two children and only son of late Australian television celebrity, zookeeper, and environmentalist Steve Irwin and Terri Irwin, and the grandson of biologist and animal advocate Robert “Bob” Irwin. Robert, a 14-year-old naturalist and animal photographer, is devoted to the animal realm.
Robert has had a lifelong fascination with the natural world. This famous family not only works at the Australian Zoo, but also travels the world capturing the best moments of nature and spreading them throughout the world. Because this smart young man shares his photographs on Instagram, his Instagram followers enjoy seeing it.
Robert uses his love of photography to help wildlife protection. By auctioning canvas prints at events throughout the world, he has generated tens of thousands of dollars for Irwin’s non-profit organization Wildlife Warriors. He has also met with world leaders such as His Royal Highness Prince Charles to discuss natural habitat protection.
